Cristiano Ronaldo is keen to leave Real Madrid and would be open to joining Chelsea this summer, according to reports.
The 32-year-old is in his ninth season with Madrid but reports have claimed that the Spanish champions would be willing to sell the forward at the end of the season in order to pave the way for Neymar’s arrival from Paris Saint-Germain.
Ronaldo had been linked with return to Manchester United but Jose Mourinho is no longer in the market for a new attacker after completing the signing of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal earlier this week.
According to The Sun, Ronaldo is considering a move back to the Premier League and would consider the prospect of a move to Chelsea.
The report also claims that Ronaldo could be potentially used as part of a deal which sees Eden Hazard join Madrid.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, has a contract with Madrid until 2021 and insists he is happy to stay in the Spanish capital.
‘Of course I want to stay here, I love this club,’ he said earlier this week.
