Breaking News: The Punch Uses Biafra Flag As Their Favicon

One of Nigeria’s most popular and most read newspaper, the punch, are currently using the Biafra flag as their website Favicon. Favicon is the image that a website uses to identify itself in the address bar. Viewing the website on Google Chrome and Firefox, the flag can be seen once you are on the website at the top part of the address bar. See screenshot below;

The Flag as been regular in the ongoing pro-biafra protest in some part of the country.

It is unclear at this time why they have taken the decision. But it could be in solidarity with the Biafra struggle or a mistake. If in this case, it is a mistake, it will be probably taken down soon.
