Sparta Prague Players Made To Train With Women Following Sexist Remarks

Two Sparta Prague players have been ordered to train with the club’s women’s team after telling a female linesman that “women belong to the kitchen.”

Lukas Vacha and Tomas Koubek were appointed by the Czech FA chairman as ambassadors of the women’s team following comments they made against Linesman Lucie Ratajova last Sunday against Zbrojovka Brno.

“In my opinion, women should stay at the stove and not officiate men’s football.” Tomas Koubek said during an interview after the game, while Lukas Vacha tweeted a photo of Lucie Ratajova with the caption “To the cooker”

Sparta’s Director General Adam Kotalik on behalf of the Club edmitted that, “The players will spend several days with the club’s female side so that they can be made aware that women have plenty of worth outside the kitchen.”
