Saturday Digest :Between President Buhari Pseudodoxia Epidemica And Common Sense

I didn’t want to say anything on the Presidential chess game but as a defender of common sense and an ambassador of hope I know Sir Thomas Browne will accuse me if I don’t put the facts straight especially at a time like now when our attention has been shifted away from the “change theories” to the fantasy of “the kitchen and the other room”

The Presidential Chess game which Mr President and the wife sat down on “the other room” planned, played and joke about, has now become a trending issue of national important while the issue of recession, unemployment and poverty has been relegated to the championship,so I asked, how long will it last?

President Buhari Pseudodoxia Epidemica has a ratio that surpass the third law of motion and sometimes more conspicuous when you look at the trend of event since he took over, from the Forgery case against the leadership of the National Assembly to the arrest of some judges and the ongoing fight against corruption, there is more to every single story, you just have to look beyond the scene.

This recent series of comedy between Mr President and his dear wife leave so many unanswered questions, but my major concern is, must our politicians always toy with our emotions?

I witnessed an argument between two people on the Presidential chess game as I was writing this article, while the other like me believed that it was a joke, the other was so adamant and was very ready for World War 3, that is how far this Buhari Pseudodoxia Epidemica has infected most Nigerians.

The idea of Government diverting the attention of the people from the main issue to some jovial comedy trick has been going on for decades, we watched it in Movies and read it in papers.

While we laugh and argue, we must never forget to demand for the change Mr President promised us, that is the main issue, things are so hard, unemployment is on the rise but We will surely overcome one day.
