As Donald Trump continue his push to become the president of the United States, it seems his children will do little to help him achieve that.
At least, siblings Eric and Ivanka Trump forgot to register to vote in time for the Republican primary in New York, according to their dad on Fox & Friends.
“They had a long-time register and they were unaware of the rules, and they didn’t, they didn’t register,” Trump said.
“Oops,” interjected Fox’s Steve Doocy.
“They feel very guilty,” Trump said.
In the interview, Trump jokes about cutting off his two children’s’ allowance, but says that it’s fine and he understands.
The New York primary is April 19.
The news that Eric and Ivanka can’t vote for him can’t please the candidate, who’s struggling already. His lead in GOP delegates has fallen below 200, reports USA TODAY, and as a result, he’s protesting the system.
I win a state in votes and then get non-representative delegates because they are offered all sorts of goodies by Cruz campaign. Bad system!

During an appearance Sunday in Rochester, N.Y., USA TODAY says, Trump called the delegate system “crooked.”
