Federation Cup winners Akwa United drew 0-0 with Glo Premier League champions Enyimba on Friday to win the 2016 pre-season Super Four tournament.
Playing before an impressive turnout at their home ground, the Akwa Ibom Stadium in Uyo, Akwa United dug deep to get the point to win the tournament meant to prepare Nigeria’s representatives for the CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup.
Akwa finished the tournament with nine points.
Earlier on Friday, Warri Wolves defeated Nasarawa United 1-0 in another Super Four clash.
Wolves scored through a Kelvin Itoya penalty after a player was brought down in the box.
The Seasiders finished the group on seven points while Nasarawa finished with eight points.
