A Chelsea fan who vowed not to tweet until Eden Hazard scored has finally broken his silence after the winger found the net against Carlisle on Sunday.
Twitter user ‘ThatSpiceJoe’ made the promise on October 29 last year and, to be fair to the Blues supporter, he’s maintained his silence over the three-month period.
Hazard scored 19 times in 52 appearances for Chelsea last season but only scored his first goal for Guus Hiddink’s side in their 5-1 rout of Carlisle in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
‘FINALLY,’ the fan tweeted after the Belgian converted his penalty in the 55th minute.
Hiddink will be hoping Hazard continues to add to his tally when the side head to Watford in the Premier League on Wednesday.
