Governor Dickson’s Sister Kidnapped In Her Shop

The sister of the Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson has been kidnapped. Nancy Keme Dickson, 26, was kidnapped in her shop alongside someone who works with her.

Here is a statement by the Bayelsa State police public relations officer, Asinim Butswat;

“On December 19, 2015, at about 1450hrs, four unknown gunmen in an ash Lexus Jeep, trailed one Nancy Keme Dickson, 26, to her shop at Okaka Road, Yenagoa, and abducted her and her sales girl to an unknown destination.

Efforts have been intensified to arrest the abductors and investigation is ongoing.”

It is not known if this is politically motivated as the state is still waiting for the conclusion of the governorship elections.
