Fuel scarcity has been reported in several part of Nigeria today. In Lagos, long queues were seen in the few petrol station with product to sell. On Wednesday, President Muhammadu Buhari had declared himself the substantive minister of petroleum resources while the head of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Ibe Kachikwu will act as junior minister.
Many motorist now depend on black market to power their cars and electricity generators. The ruling party, the All progressive Congress took over in May, promising change.
