Innocent Ndukwe, a 24-year-old final year civil engineering student of the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo State, Niger, has been discovered near Owerri, the state capital, The Punch reports.
Three suspects – David Kwaguru, 30; Friday Ayuba, 28; and Francis Amos, 23, had been arrested in connection to the incident .
Lakanu said Kwaguru, who was Ndukwe’s guard, was alleged to have connived with the two other suspects to kill the victim, who was said to have hailed from a rich family.
After killing Ndukwe, the suspects were alleged to have dispossessed him of his Sports Utility Vehicle with registration number Lagos KRD 109 BP, two TV sets and other belongings.
Ndukwe, 24, was found in his pool of blood in a toilet at his residence at 18 Enuwa Street, Egbu, Owerri North Local Government Area.
The Commissioner of Police in The State who confirmed the information assured that police are on top of the situation.
